Spectators: 6981 (Terracing: 5343, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aldo Etxepare started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Irigoyen got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Urdaspal. In the 7th minute of the match, Dennis Kerridge sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Omar Sayvion showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Amadeo Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Loren in the 13th minute of play forced Irigoyen's goalkeeper Omar Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Baldomero Loreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Bladi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillos's zone, Angelino Matro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Bladi came out of the goal and Angelino Matro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Etxepare in the 20th minute of play. Manuel Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Aldo Etxepare's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Omar Sayvion skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Omar Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Aldo Etxepare sent off a good shot on target. Omar Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Etxepare in the 33rd minute of play. Aldo Etxepare had several of the Irigoyen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Omar Sayvion as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 38th minute, Radomir Walczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 40 in the game by Aldo Etxepare from a close distance when the talented Omar Sayvion managed to make a qualified save. Irigoyen's players were relieved. Aldo Etxepare succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 42nd playminute. Aldo Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Matro was the one to do the kick off. Omar Sayvion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Etxepare's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Tambillos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aldo Etxepare hit a great ball. Baldomero Loreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Manuel Bladi made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Irigoyen's zone, Aldo Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Sayvion came out of the goal and Aldo Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Oxarra hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Feliks Rutkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Bonifacio Cordarrel suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 67 minutes, Arnaldo Luken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irigoyen and the Tambillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Irigoyen got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Luken. Omar Sayvion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Etxepare's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Angelino Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Bladi having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Matro came free, but Manuel Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sayvion having to interfere. Omar Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Sayvion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Etxepare's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Manuel Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Matro in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tambillos had played much better football throughout.
