Adriana Daunte, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Martxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernan Ostots. Gonzalo Martxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gonzalo Martxel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fernan Ostots to make any attempt to save it. Fermin Lluterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Gelacio's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Marucha's Herminio Gurutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Lluterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Herminio Gurutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Lluterio was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Fermin Lluterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Gurutz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 30 played minutes SANTA FE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Otsando. In the 34th minute Herminio Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Olayo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Olayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florentino Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ostots having to interfere. Luisito Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Fernan Ostots made a huge save. Fernan Ostots was a little too slow when Florentino Guerrero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Gelacio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SANTA FE F.C.'s Luisito Montel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Luisito Montel fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTA FE F.C.'s protests and gave Luisito Montel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, SANTA FE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Montel to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, SANTA FE F.C.'s Adriana Daunte seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adriana Daunte the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SANTA FE F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adriana Daunte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, one of SANTA FE F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SANTA FE F.C.. Fermin Lluterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Gelacio in the 67th minute. Gonzalo Martxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ostots having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Marucha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Hibai to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fernan Ostots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Gurutzs short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Fermin Lluterio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fermin Lluterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Gelacio in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Marucha were awarded a corner. Herminio Gurutz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Herminio Gurutz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SANTA FE F.C.'s Fermin Lluterio did a great save. After a rather tough play, Marucha's Fermin Olayo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fermin Lluterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Gurutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Camilo Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Martxel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the SANTA FE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Martxel couldn't finish the play. If Herminio Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SANTA FE F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marucha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
