Florentino Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gerardo Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, SANTA FE F.C.'s Gonzalo Martxel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amador Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Martxel in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafin Sabin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fermin Lluterio made a huge save. The supporters of RIVADAVIA booed when SANTA FE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes SANTA FE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Otsando. Gerardo Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Guerrero in the 39th minute of the match. Gerardo Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Martxel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Guerrero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, RIVADAVIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Cai to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as SANTA FE F.C.'s Florentino Guerrero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Lopes. That made the score 0-4 after 53 minutes of play. In the 66th minute, SANTA FE F.C.'s Florentino Guerrero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. A hard shot 70 in the game by Florentino Guerrero from a close distance when the talented Gerardo Lopes managed to make a qualified save. RIVADAVIA's players were relieved. 73 minutes into the game, Ruperto Kelemen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerardo Lopes. Ruperto Kelemen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Florentino Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Lopes having to interfere. RIVADAVIA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gonzalo Martxel 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. 84 minutes into the game, Isidro Orkatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVADAVIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SANTA FE F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, RIVADAVIA's Isidro Orkatz got a free kick in the 84th minute. RIVADAVIA's Gerardo Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Martxel in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Rolando Urtats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVADAVIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SANTA FE F.C. the free kick. Gerardo Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SANTA FE F.C.'s Gonzalo Martxel got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as SANTA FE F.C.'s Luisito Montel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Lopes. That made the score 0-9 after 94 minutes of play. SANTA FE F.C. played a much better game than RIVADAVIA and deserved their victory. The RIVADAVIA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
