Eustaquio Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Glevau, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Atletico Saca Chispa defense, Osvaldo Luzea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Orzaize. The Atletico Saca Chispa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Orzaize should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes, Francescoliano FC's Ubaldo Eufrasio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celso Orzaize came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Francescoliano FC reached it. After 17 played minutes Francescoliano FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Urki. In the 24th minute, Ubaldo Eufrasio made a precise shot to the right of Celso Orzaize. Atletico Saca Chispa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Dante Urki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Orzaize. Atletico Saca Chispa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Urki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Francescoliano FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. German Harkaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Saca Chispa's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in German Harkaitz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Francescoliano FC's Eustaquio Matia did a great save. Dante Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Celso Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Gauci Maistre might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Matia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Gauci Maistre ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the game, Francescoliano FC's Osvaldo Luzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Orzaize made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Fabrizio Gauci Maistre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Matia having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Urki to make the kick off. Celso Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Luzea in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Francescoliano FC were awarded a corner. Dante Urki went to the cornerflag to take it. Clemente Lartaun tried in the 54th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Celso Orzaize a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-5. Atletico Saca Chispa's Ryan Glevau got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Dante Urki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Francescoliano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Saca Chispa the free kick. A collision led to Francescoliano FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dante Urki hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Francescoliano FC's zone, Marciano Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Matia came out of the goal and Marciano Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Francescoliano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Lando to maneuver through the defense. German Harkaitz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Dante Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Francescoliano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Urki struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Celso Orzaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Francescoliano FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Francescoliano FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
