Efrain Rolado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Pedro Gilabert made a huge save. Humberto Dabi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to El Gran Menotti getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Benigno Astrada hit a great ball. Pedro Gilabert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Quintin in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Benedicto Quintin could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Pedro Gilabert however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to El Gran Menotti getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Benigno Astrada hit a great ball. Pedro Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Rolado in the 38th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Bernabe Hermon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Benedicto Quintin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Gilabert. El Gran Menotti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Quintin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to El Gran Menotti getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dionisio Ganix hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, El Gran Menotti's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Quintin came free, but Pedro Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Benedicto Quintin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Huracán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in El Gran Menotti's zone, Benedicto Quintin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Gilabert came out of the goal and Benedicto Quintin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Paulo Vides was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Julian Frankowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Frankowski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Pedro Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Victorino Oliverio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Luiz Paulo Vides made a huge save. Club Atlético Huracán's Luiz Paulo Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Huracán from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, one of El Gran Menotti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Gran Menotti. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Huracán. Honorio Quexal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Gilabert. 3-2. Club Atlético Huracán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
