After a defensive mix-up in diablito AFC's zone, Julian Frankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Dominix came out of the goal and Julian Frankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Urki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Roque Dominix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Joaquin Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Bernat hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Rene Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to diablito AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Chris Sicard hit a great ball. Dionisio Ganix hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Humberto Dabi made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leonel Bernat. With 46 minutes on the clock, Abd al-Asis Djamel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute, one of El Gran Menotti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Gran Menotti. Julian Lia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.

The wind increased when Julian Lia made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes diablito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Bento. In the 53rd minute of the match Joaquin Elorri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Dominix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, El Gran Menotti's Pedro Gilabert got control of the ball when Rene Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascual Kaiet hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Roque Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dionisio Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Pedro Gilabert made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rene Azevedo sent off a good shot on target.
