An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Ferran in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Huracán's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Erasmo Stephen scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Illan, making the score, 1-0. Efrain Rolado's late challenge caught a Manchester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atlético Huracán getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Efrain Rolado hit a great ball. With a little luck, Manchester City's Hernan Illan got control of the ball when Benedicto Quintin tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Huracán reached it. 74 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Cordarin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Huracán the free kick. Ciriaco Cordarin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hernan Illan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Quintin's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Quintin in the 93rd minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Hernan Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Quintin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hernan Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Huracán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
