Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Desiderio Balesio made the kick off which started today's match. Desiderio Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Giraldo having to interfere. Desiderio Balesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Desiderio Balesio came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sarmiento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Balesio couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Indar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Lehoi. Sarmiento's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aurelio Lehoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Sotil in the 23rd minute of play. Aurelio Lehoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Tiniebra in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento's Moises Fraco got a free kick in the 28th minute. Adrian Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Gorri in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Balesio got free with Adrian Giraldo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Desiderio Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Giraldo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliciano Tiniebra was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Roque Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sarmiento fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Sarmiento's Desiderio Balesio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Sarmiento's Aurelio Lehoi got control of the ball when Camilo Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Rene Llorenc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Balesio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Adrian Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento. Desiderio Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adrian Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Desiderio Balesio made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Giraldo. Atlético de Rafaela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Sarmiento players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
