The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epifanio Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Argoitz in the 19th minute of play forced Arano AFC's goalkeeper Amador Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Argoitz in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Galoer saved Arano AFC from getting behind. Melchor Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Epifanio Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arsenio Jerold came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Arano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Jerold couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Argoitz in the 31st minute of play forced Arano AFC's goalkeeper Amador Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Palmita AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Norberto Argoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Galoer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 45th match minute, Arano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Melchor Platon made the kick off in the second half. If Norberto Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Amador Galoer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ubaldo Argoitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amador Galoer came out and tried to block the shot, but Ubaldo Argoitz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 84th minute. From a short distance, Palmita AFC's Norberto Argoitz, in the 90th minute, tried to place the ball behind Amador Galoer, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Ceferino Regis's late challenge caught a Palmita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Regis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Arano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Regis to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Amador Galoer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
