Spectators: 6634 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Tirso started the match with the kick off. Carlos Arnas hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Sergio Ilazki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Gaxan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Flavio Dubardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, N J S's Arnulfo Gaxan got control of the ball when Flavio Dubardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Gaxan was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Hugo Gaxan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Gaxan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Progresso's Hugo Gaxan got a free kick in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gavino Otsoko notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Progresso's Adrianinho Simão. Adrianinho Simão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavino Otsoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Adrianinho Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Simon Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martin Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Gaxan having to interfere. Gavino Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Simão having to interfere. Simon Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Adrianinho Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Gaxan made a kick off. After having played for 71 minutes, Flavio Dubardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Dubardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Simon Tirso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Progresso's Hugo Gaxan in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye N J S's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Progresso getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Martin Maldonado hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
