Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Campos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Barros came free, but Justino Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Campos in the 5th minute of play forced Rompepelotas's goalkeeper Leonel Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Igor Tushnolobov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Rompepelotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Bazil to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute João Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If João Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, João Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tambillo defense, Manuel Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Sesuldo. The Tambillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Sesuldo should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes in the game, João Campos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonel Javiero having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Tambillo's Nilmar Coutinho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nilmar Coutinho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tambillo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nilmar Coutinho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tambillo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 34th minute João Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Bakar's late challenge caught a Tambillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Bakar helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Bakar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If João Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Manuel Barros made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillo's zone, Enzo Opilano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Sesuldo came out of the goal and Enzo Opilano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute João Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Unzueta hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Rompepelotas's Leonel Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Grabiel in the 64th minute of play. Leonel Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leonel Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tambillo made a substitution. Luciano Botello replaced Edgard Grabiel. Leonel Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
