In the 17th minute of the match Leo Messi F.C got a corner. Volcan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zachariasz Czempa ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zachariasz Czempa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 22ndth minute of the game Zachariasz Czempa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volcan's Americo Brun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Zachariasz Czempa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leo Messi F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Czempa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Zachariasz Czempa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Brun was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Candido Ranolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match Pascual Cedro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Americo Brun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 35 minutes on the clock, Pascual Cedro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Leo Messi F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Volcan:s goal. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Volcan. Fidel Botello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sergiu Prelipceanu. 1-1. When Candido Ranolfo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Leo Messi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Ranolfo couldn't finish the play. Candido Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Brun having to interfere. The supporters of Leo Messi F.C booed when Volcan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Ranolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Volcan's Americo Brun got control of the ball when Candido Ranolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Candido Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Brun having to interfere. Angelo Aguilera came free in the 59th minute and tried to tip the ball over Americo Brun, but to the joy of Volcan's supporters the ball went over. In the 60th minute, Leo Messi F.C's Aaron Ihintza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Americo Brun. Americo Brun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 63rd minute Arsenio Berart collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Merexildo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Merexildo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Aureliano Joachim struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sergiu Prelipceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volcan. Sergiu Prelipceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Joachim in the 69th minute of play. Sergiu Prelipceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Candido Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leo Messi F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Americo Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Americo Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Aguilera in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Leo Messi F.C's Candido Ranolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Brun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Americo Brun managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Leo Messi F.C's Angelo Aguilera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Ranolfo in the 84th minute of play forced Volcan's goalkeeper Americo Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Candido Ranolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eustacio Caton fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leo Messi F.C's protests and gave Eustacio Caton a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Volcan booed when Leo Messi F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Caton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Leo Messi F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Volcan throughout the match.
