The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 12 minutes, Benjamin Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Inocencio Castel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Castulo. Saujil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inocencio Castel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Evaristo Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Castulo having to interfere. The throw-in from Eliseo Txomin in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saujil FC's Serafino Abaunza. Samuel Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Arumeel in the 26th minute of play. Evaristo Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Trancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Saujil FC's zone, Mario Mikelats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Castulo came out of the goal and Mario Mikelats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Iraunkor was the one to do the kick off. Mario Mikelats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Castulo having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Evaristo Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Arumeel in the 65th minute of play forced Trancas's goalkeeper Samuel Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Saujil FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Anastasio Txomin hit a great ball. When Anastasio Txomin fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saujil FC's protests and gave Anastasio Txomin a yellow card for diving instead. Anastasio Txomin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Evaristo Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Castulo having to interfere. Rein Arumeel took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Pero. Samuel Pero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Saujil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Iraunkor came free, but Angel Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Mikelats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trancas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Saujil FC had won, even though Trancas had held more of the ball.
