Tiburcio Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mateo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the game, Rogelio Oinaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Generoso Astudillo. Rogelio Oinaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 18 minutes, Jonas Galindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the Laprida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Laprida FC booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Urtzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Generoso Astudillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Mateo Urtzi could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Generoso Astudillo however easily saved by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Laprida FC's Mateo Urtzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 39th minute Tiburcio Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Laprida FC's Evelio Isadore got a free kick in the 41st minute. Domingos Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Eugenio Christobal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laprida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barcelona the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Laprida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Christobal to maneuver through the defense.

In the 52nd minute, Rogelio Oinaz made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Astudillo. FC Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Domingos Abecia made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tiburcio Raitin sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Patricio Presebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Rogelio Oinaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Generoso Astudillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Rey struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Domingos Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. Generoso Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Urtzi's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 88 played minutes, FC Barcelona's Romulo Vidal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingos Abecia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Barcelona reached it. 94 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Urtzi came free, but Generoso Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Laprida FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Barcelona had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
