Esteban Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Delmar Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Delmar Iago came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Rock and Roll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Iago couldn't finish the play. Carlos Mannie made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Victoriano Hermelando. Anibal Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Noe, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Delmar Iago came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Rock and Roll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Iago couldn't finish the play. Encrucijadas FC's Esteban Lano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Encrucijadas FC from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Carlos Mannie in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rock and Roll's Aristides Ellande. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to Encrucijadas FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carlos Mannie hit a great ball. The supporters of Rock and Roll booed when Encrucijadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Hermelando didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rock and Roll's Delmar Iago in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 63 played minutes Rock and Roll got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Ellande. Victoriano Hermelando hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Vânderson Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rock and Roll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rock and Roll's Ove Stenquist got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes, Fidel Hanot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rock and Roll and the Encrucijadas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fidel Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Aristides Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rock and Roll's Aristides Ellande managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Mannie in the 87 minute of the game. Anibal Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Romildo in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Encrucijadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Iago came free, but Esteban Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rock and Roll were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
