Spectators: 7079 (Terracing: 5311, Seating: 1628, VIP seats: 140) Nicasio Colas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Teo Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Patricio Markel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Houston FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Teo Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the San Houston FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Karmel couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Cebollar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Colas came free, but Isaac Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, San Houston FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Aballe took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Pabla. Paulo Pabla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in San Houston FC's zone, Ciro Izquierdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Pabla came out of the goal and Ciro Izquierdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Ruperto Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cebollar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, San Houston FC's Teo Karmel got a free kick in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Izquierdo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
