With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evelio Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Nisio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Tadeo Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gabriel Raebert fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avantasia F.C.'s protests and gave Gabriel Raebert a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Avantasia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Raebert. Pirguita AFC's Gogo Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimeno Hegoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romulo Sadurni. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Avantasia F.C.'s Alvaro Fertus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Sadurni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hector Phelipe hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Evelio Orixe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Ganix in the 31st minute of play. Tadeo Demario took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Orixe. Evelio Orixe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gogo Ganix might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Orixe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Ganix ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Fertus was the one to do the kick off. Pirguita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Ganix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Avantasia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Ganix came free, but Evelio Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Feliciano Galoer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evelio Orixe. The goal made the score 1-3.
