The audience was convinced that Alejo Feliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Chan was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Poetas del Césped FC defense, Adriana Cordeara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Chan. The Poetas del Césped FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Chan should have stopped the shot. Poetas del Césped FC's Clemente Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Feliz in the 17th minute of play. Poetas del Césped FC's Clemente Chan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Poetas del Césped FC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Alejo Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Poetas del Césped FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Irrintzi. Clemente Chan was a little too slow when Alejo Feliz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Teo Ubelteso kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Clemente Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Feliz in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Alejo Feliz put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Clemente Chan. In the 43rd match minute, Meseta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Loreto to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Honrio in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Andvik saved Meseta FC from getting behind. Alejo Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Clemente Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Bernard made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Feliz in the 62nd minute of play forced Poetas del Césped FC's goalkeeper Clemente Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hans Andvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meseta FC made a substitution. Laur Coria replaced Adriana Cordeara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Bernard in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Andvik saved Meseta FC from getting behind. Hans Andvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Poetas del Césped FC's protests and gave Enzo Irrintzi a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Laur Coria sped through Poetas del Césped FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Chan. 93 minutes into the match, Alejo Feliz notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Poetas del Césped FC's Clemente Chan. Clemente Chan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute, Laur Coria made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Chan. Poetas del Césped FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Meseta FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
