Spectators: 6996 (Terracing: 5343, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 15) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bartolo Oskarbi kicked off to start the match. After 4th play minutes Prospero Lamberto shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ubaldo Millan and just under the crossbar into goal. Regina C. A.'s Ubaldo Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Lamberto in the 12th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Prospero Lamberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Regina C. A.'s Ubaldo Millan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Igon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Regina C. A.'s zone, Prospero Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Millan came out of the goal and Prospero Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Llorenc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Millan. Regina C. A.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Prospero Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ubaldo Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Leonardo Skoglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regina C. A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Skoglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Bernardo Goi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paolo Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Villa Alvino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Aimar to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Goi was a little too slow when Leonardo Skoglund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, Regina C. A.'s Camilo Ciceron got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Igon was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Igon during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Samuel Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Villa Alvino FC booed when Regina C. A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Licerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Regina C. A.'s goalkeeper Ubaldo Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Lamberto. Samuel Igon took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Goi. Bernardo Goi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Regina C. A. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Serafin Liher hit a great ball. Ubaldo Millan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Haroldo Ignatius. Prospero Lamberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Millan made a huge save. Ubaldo Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Lamberto in the 80th minute. Maximino Abad lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Regina C. A. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Paolo Aimar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Prospero Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Millan having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Samuel Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regina C.
