Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alberto Argider made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Gavino Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maura having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Angelo Aznar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Instituto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Crespo FC the free kick. Angelo Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, Villa Crespo FC's Hugo Hustaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Tajo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Crespo FC reached it. After 13 played minutes, Villa Crespo FC's Alejo Ponce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Tajo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Crespo FC reached it. In the 15th minute of the match Alejo Ponce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Tajo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maura having to interfere. Instituto's Vicente Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Argider in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Nicolas Salomone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Instituto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Crespo FC the free kick. The supporters of Villa Crespo FC booed when Instituto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Paulin in the 37th minute of play. When Leonel Leguizamón came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Instituto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Leguizamón couldn't finish the play. Leonel Leguizamón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Paulin in the 42nd minute of play forced Villa Crespo FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Leonel Leguizamón put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rogelio Maura. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leonel Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Crespo FC's zone, Leonel Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Maura came out of the goal and Leonel Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Instituto's Nicolas Salomone got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Nicolas Salomone off the ground. A collision led to Instituto getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nicolas Salomone hit a great ball. After 60 minutes, Hector Arixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Crespo FC and the Instituto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Hector Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonel Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Instituto's Leonel Leguizamón in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Crespo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Leguizamón in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maura having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villa Crespo FC's Gavino Malvin got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, Instituto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Aznar to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Leonel Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Tajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Malvin in the 81st minute. Emanuel Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maura having to interfere. Gaspar Froylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Villa Crespo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Leguizamón came free, but Rogelio Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maura having to interfere. Villa Crespo FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Instituto had controlled the match.
