When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alfonso Berart sped through Ensenada FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelio Bastian. In the 17th minute, Ensenada FC's Zeledon Chuse seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zeledon Chuse the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ensenada FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zeledon Chuse had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Ensenada FC's Zeledon Chuse got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, 曾兴阳 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Garcia was the one to do the kick off.
