Cristobal Eneas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Eneas in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Javier Remir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alsina FC's Evelio Manilan got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rene Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cristobal Eneas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rene Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reconquista. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Cristobal Eneas sped through Alsina FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Veremundo. Javier Remir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Veremundo. Alsina FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Rogelio Quinten took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Humberto Estefan to make any attempt to save it. Cristobal Eneas might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Veremundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Eneas ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Natal charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Natal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Natal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Humberto Toro, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rogelio Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Cristobal Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Veremundo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Eneas to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Reconquista got a freekick which was hit by Javier Remir. In the 55th match minute, Alsina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Natal to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rene Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Reconquista's Hugo Laurgain got a free kick in the 61st minute. Reconquista's Humberto Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Belasko in the 62nd minute of play. Cristobal Eneas might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Veremundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Eneas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Jonathan Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Alsina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Belasko to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Cristobal Eneas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rene Veremundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Juan Enetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alsina FC's goalkeeper Rene Veremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Luis Oinatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsina FC and the Reconquista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Alsina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reconquista:s goal. Rene Veremundo went to the wrong direction when Humberto Toro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
