Desiderio Tabb was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elias Quirze showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Elias Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Desiderio Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diablos FC's Florencio Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Macerio in the 17th minute of play. If Nerio Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nerio Munoz got free with Desiderio Tabb in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florencio Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Etxahun in the 23rd minute of play. Elias Quirze kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Diablos FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Gilabert. Nerio Munoz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Desiderio Tabb firmly grabbed it by the left post. 2-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Elias Quirze elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Hernan Goi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Diablos FC's Florencio Telesforo. Florencio Telesforo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Nerio Munoz could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Desiderio Tabb however easily saved by the left post. Desiderio Tabb stood somewhat misplaced when Nerio Munoz came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Etxahun to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Elias Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Quirze in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Tabb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes, Santos Figueroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranqueles and the Diablos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Diablos FC booed when Ranqueles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ranqueles defense, Elias Quirze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Tabb. The Ranqueles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Tabb should have stopped the shot. Ranqueles's Desiderio Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerio Munoz in the 69th minute of play. Elias Quirze struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Desiderio Tabb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerio Munoz in the 79th minute of play forced Ranqueles's goalkeeper Desiderio Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Nerio Munoz put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Tabb. When Diablos FC's Nerio Munoz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
