Jonas Arnalt helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the game, one of Curapaligüé:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Defensores de Catan a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ulises Abadia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curapaligüé's Romulo Teodor. 3-0. Curapaligüé's Romulo Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Iraido in the 60th minute of play. Romulo Teodor came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Catan's Ulises Abadia. But to his dismay, Ulises Abadia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A collision led to Curapaligüé getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jorge Medero hit a great ball. Gaston Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Romulo Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Curapaligüé's zone, Gaston Iraido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Teodor came out of the goal and Gaston Iraido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Romulo Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Argider scored 5-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romulo Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florentino Lano scored 5-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Enaut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Gaston Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Defensores de Catan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
