After a defensive mix-up in Macha FC's zone, Gaston Iraido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Kaxen came out of the goal and Gaston Iraido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Iraido got free with Aquilino Kaxen in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Iker Ongile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Candido Inautzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Enaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Cordarin in the 26th minute of play forced Defensores de Catan's goalkeeper Fernando Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Macha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Montrel came free, but Aquilino Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fernando Enaut made a huge save. In the 87th match minute, Defensores de Catan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Argider to maneuver through the defense.
