With a little luck, Quilaquina's Roberto Urtzi got control of the ball when Isaac Ondino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidoro Laurendi's late challenge caught a Quilaquina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Ondino in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the match, Quilaquina's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Tomi came free, but Roberto Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coihueco FC's Pablo Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Bibiano during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Coihueco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Urtzi came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Coihueco FC's Evaristo Enmanuel. But to his dismay, Evaristo Enmanuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Germano Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Acevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Pablo Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Roberto Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coihueco FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
