Mechongué AFC's David Crispo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play, Mechongué AFC's David Crispo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, LA LEPRA's Basilio Ramos got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Mechongué AFC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in LA LEPRA's zone, Patricio Telmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Reyes came out of the goal and Patricio Telmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA LEPRA's goalkeeper Narciso Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amancio Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Patricio Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mechongué AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Telmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Telmo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Narciso Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mechongué AFC. When Patricio Telmo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mechongué AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Telmo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Telmo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Reyes saved LA LEPRA from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Faustino Muno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA LEPRA and the Mechongué AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faustino Muno hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Mechongué AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Maore came free, but Jesus Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes Mechongué AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Tanio. Bernardo Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mechongué AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
