Leo Bizien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MaCoNdO's Ricardo Savier got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MaCoNdO's zone, Victoriano Estavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Pio came out of the goal and Victoriano Estavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Arnulfo Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Anastasio Palban got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 40 minutes into the match, Leon-O's goalkeeper Leo Bizien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Cortez. After 44 minutes, Bruno Ponc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MaCoNdO and the Leon-O players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Bruno Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Cortez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ramon Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Leon-O's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Cortez came free, but Leo Bizien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MaCoNdO booed when Leon-O was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Cortez in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Bizien saved Leon-O from getting behind. Leon-O's Benigno Arano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esteban Pio but with some difficulty. In the 80th minute, Victoriano Estavan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Esteban Pio. The goal made the score 1-1. Victoriano Estavan might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Pio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Estavan ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, MaCoNdO's Arnulfo Suero got a free kick in the 91st minute. Benigno Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Estavan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Pio was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Lino Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leo Bizien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
