Serafin Balendin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Catamarca's Leonides Isadore couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tafna AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Isadore in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Guilabertus saved Tafna AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Isadore in the 8th minute of play forced Tafna AFC's goalkeeper Moises Guilabertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tafna AFC defense, Leonides Isadore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moises Guilabertus. The Tafna AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moises Guilabertus should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, Tafna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Gartzen to maneuver through the defense. Tafna AFC's Moises Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Pelayo in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Leonides Isadore put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Moises Guilabertus. Leonides Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Moises Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Isadore in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Guilabertus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Tafna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Isadore came free, but Moises Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Reynaldo Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catamarca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Leonides Isadore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tafna AFC's Moises Guilabertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Leonides Isadore made a precise shot to the right of Moises Guilabertus. Tafna AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Catamarca were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leonides Isadore made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leonides Isadore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moises Guilabertus. Leonides Isadore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Moises Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Raphael in the 57th minute of play. Teofilo Heriberto's late challenge caught a Tafna AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Heriberto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tafna AFC booed when Catamarca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Leonides Isadore sped through Tafna AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moises Guilabertus. Leonides Isadore in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moises Guilabertus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 75 played minutes Catamarca got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Silvanito. Pedro Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Moises Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Isadore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Moises Guilabertus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moises Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Isadore in the 93rd minute of play. A hard shot 95 in the game by Leonides Isadore from a close distance when the talented Moises Guilabertus managed to make a qualified save. Tafna AFC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Catamarca's Arnoldo Raphael got a free kick in the 97th minute.
