The referee ignored Estudiantes LP's protests and gave Lorenzo Walme a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Estudiantes LP got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Walme. After 94 played minutes Estudiantes LP got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Perico. The Estudiantes LP fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fauzón AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
