After 16 minutes of play, Dragones's Adriana Erroman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Adriana Erroman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 25th minute Hector George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Bartoli kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Hector George got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Prudencio Harriet handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Carmelo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Nayely in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Nayely in the 30th minute of play forced Pampayasta AFC's goalkeeper Carmelo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Orlando Lastur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pampayasta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragones the free kick. Orlando Lastur hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Julio Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragones's Prudencio Harriet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Dragones from getting a goal against them. Pampayasta AFC's Carmelo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Nayely in the 41st minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Albano Jordy from a close distance when the talented Prudencio Harriet managed to make a qualified save. Dragones's players were relieved. Prudencio Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Ler in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Arturo Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Nayely was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Dragones got a corner. Pampayasta AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Chaime ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fidel Chaime made a great header on Dragones's corner, it was just that Pampayasta AFC's Carmelo Neto managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 61 minutes, Paulino Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampayasta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Nel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Nayely in the 64th minute of play forced Pampayasta AFC's goalkeeper Carmelo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Dragones's Adriana Erroman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carmelo Neto. Carmelo Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pampayasta AFC's zone, Adriana Erroman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Neto came out of the goal and Adriana Erroman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector George struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Prudencio Harriet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pampayasta AFC. After 82 played minutes Dragones got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Bartoli. Carmelo Neto made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Adriana Erroman sent off a good shot on target. Hector George might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Harriet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector George ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector George in the 94th minute of play forced Dragones's goalkeeper Prudencio Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Hector George had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Harriet. Dragones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector George was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
