In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fratelli F.C's goalkeeper Isidoro Cucao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Nel scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Cucao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidoro Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Santo in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Sasuke AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gerardo Orlo made the kick off in the second half.
