In the 7th minute Widodo Prima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Hotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Gustau in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, mercedes sport's Widodo Prima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Widodo Prima in the 16th minute of play forced Correa's goalkeeper Blas Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicasio Joey fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored mercedes sport's protests and gave Nicasio Joey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, mercedes sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Joey to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes mercedes sport got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Gimenez. When Segundo Gustau came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Correa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Gustau couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Montae in the 23rd minute of play forced mercedes sport's goalkeeper Orlando Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, mercedes sport's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Montae came free, but Orlando Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Correa were furious when Pascual Oskarbi was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Correa! The referee gave mercedes sport a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domingo Bilbo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Correa's Blas Hotz. 2-0. The mercedes sport fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when mercedes sport's Fernan Franco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Segundo Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Segundo Gustau made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Correa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sergio Ralondo hit a great ball. Blas Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Franco in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Widodo Prima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Gustau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Ariando having to interfere. Segundo Gustau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Orlando Ariando made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Franco in the 68th minute of play forced Correa's goalkeeper Blas Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Abelardo Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot. mercedes sport's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Cebrian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Hotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Clodio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Blas Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Bilbo in the 72nd minute of the match. Segundo Gustau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Orlando Ariando made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Franco in the 90th minute of play forced Correa's goalkeeper Blas Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Bermudez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thanks to Correa's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Celedonio Filipo tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Blas Hotz seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save.
