Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Moluscos's Driss Ouadah started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hector Pero came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Moluscos's Serafin Veto. The audience was convinced that Driss Ouadah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Pero was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Roman Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, one of Palavicini AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palavicini AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Driss Ouadah in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Pero saved Palavicini AFC from getting behind. Hector Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Moluscos's Serafin Veto got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Driss Ouadah in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Marcones was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Palavicini AFC's Hector Pero got control of the ball when Driss Ouadah tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Deportivo Moluscos's Alberto Perpinya made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Pero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Rodriguez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The tension between the Palavicini AFC and the Deportivo Moluscos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Palavicini AFC's attentive Laureano Quentin managed to snatch the ball when Virgilio Cidro made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. Adrian Dinulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Palavicini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Pabla. When Virgilio Cidro came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Deportivo Moluscos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Cidro couldn't finish the play.
