Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Palmeira in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lothar Kolb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lothar Kolb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Palmeira in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Evaristo Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Street the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes, Tomás Geleberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Street and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Black Street getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tomás Geleberto hit a great ball. Racing Club's Juan Estebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Gagriel in the 25th minute of play. Basajaun Homar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Street's Lothar Kolb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Palmeira in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Betinho Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lothar Kolb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Christian Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Estebe having to interfere. The supporters of Black Street booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Black Street was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Oriche to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Palmeira in the 43rd minute of play forced Black Street's goalkeeper Lothar Kolb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Sengrat hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Lothar Kolb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Palmeira in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betinho Palmeira made a kick off. Rodolfo Nalo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lothar Kolb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. In the 54th minute, Betinho Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Geleberto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Betinho Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Basajaun Homar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Basajaun Homar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juan Estebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Geleberto in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Augusto Gagriel made a precise shot to the right of Juan Estebe. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Juan Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Gagriel in the 83rd minute of play. Lothar Kolb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Nalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Basajaun Homar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
