Gabriel Truylos was a little too slow when Narciso Primo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Reynaldo Min kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Narciso Primo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gabriel Truylos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Independiente. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Fausto Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Gotzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chapelco's Cristo Tiniebra got a free kick in the 18th minute. Narciso Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Truylos having to interfere. Narciso Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Narciso Primo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chapelco's zone, Narciso Primo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Truylos came out of the goal and Narciso Primo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Gotzon in the 47th minute of play. Fausto Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Gabriel Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Sotero to make the kick off. Tobias Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Truylos having to interfere. When Tobias Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the C. A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. Narciso Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Salvidor hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gabriel Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Primo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Gilabert. Rogelio Cresitobalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Sotero in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Chapelco getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Laureano Clementi hit a great ball. Gabriel Truylos came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Narciso Primo. But to his dismay, Narciso Primo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Chapelco's Gabriel Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Primo in the 93rd minute of play. Rogelio Cresitobalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
