The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Everardo Afonso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Herbert Wawak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca's Everardo Afonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Atlético Leproso's Lázaro Fero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Leproso from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Sotil in the 32nd minute of play forced Boca's goalkeeper Everardo Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Wawak in the 35th minute of the match. Elias Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Afonso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boca's zone, Herbert Wawak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Afonso came out of the goal and Herbert Wawak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Nuñez in the 46th minute of play forced Boca's goalkeeper Everardo Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca's Everardo Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Wawak in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Wawak to make the kick off. With his leg Everardo Afonso managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Club Atlético Leproso's Herbert Wawak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredo Fortun might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Afonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Fortun ran back to his position shaking his head. Herbert Wawak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Everardo Afonso made a huge save. Herbert Wawak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Everardo Afonso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 59 minutes into the match, Boca's goalkeeper Everardo Afonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Nuñez. If Herbert Wawak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play, Club Atlético Leproso's Herbert Wawak made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Afonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Boca's goalkeeper Everardo Afonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Sotil. In the 77th minute, Herbert Wawak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Everardo Afonso. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 80th minute, Melchor Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Afonso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Wawak's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Silvio Abel charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Abel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute of the match Mario Martino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Fero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Everardo Afonso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silvio Abel. After recieving a nice pass, Boca's Mario Martino tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Boca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Leproso were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
