Nereo Garaile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venancio Oxel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Maraman went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 33 minutes, Saverio Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Alejo Jurgi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Garaile was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Stalian Alexe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Dolores FC's Nereo Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Jurgi in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cañas F.C's Fridrich Potisepp got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Jurgi in the 58th minute of play forced Dolores FC's goalkeeper Nereo Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saverio Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Lehior charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nereo Garaile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Jurgi went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Enzo Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Cañas F.C's Lino Figueroa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Garaile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cañas F.C fully deserved thier win.
