Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5349, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacobo Corderall kicked off to start the match. When Cañas F.C's Stalian Alexe in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fénix AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th match minute, Fénix AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Johans to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Jurgi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristobal Illart. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Anier Marko hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Cañas F.C's Lino Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristobal Illart made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Alejo Jurgi sent off a good shot on target. If Alejo Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cañas F.C's Lino Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Fénix AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Figueroa came free, but Cristobal Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alejo Jurgi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cañas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Jurgi couldn't finish the play. Alejo Jurgi took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Illart. Cristobal Illart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Fénix AFC booed when Cañas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cañas F.C booed when Fénix AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Figueroa made a kick off. Santos Baristo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cristobal Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cañas F.C's Venancio Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Corderall in the 58th minute of play. Cristobal Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Figueroa in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Isaias Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes of play, Cañas F.C's Alejo Jurgi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Illart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fénix AFC's Cristobal Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Jurgi in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Cañas F.C's Lino Figueroa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Illart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Cañas F.C's Alejo Jurgi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Illart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Figueroa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Illart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Figueroa in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Illart saved Fénix AFC from getting behind. Alejo Jurgi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fénix AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Leo Johans hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Figueroa in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Illart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venancio Oxel made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Vicente Haritzeder sent off a good shot on target.
