Godofredo Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Román Riquelme Teams's Godofredo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Obano in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Obano in the 11th minute of play forced Juan Román Riquelme Teams's goalkeeper Godofredo Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Frechoso made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Flavio Toli sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Noe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Juan Román Riquelme Teams's Gervasio Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nonogasta's Evaristo Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Tohias in the 27th minute of play. Herminio Ponc hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Kepa during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Juan Román Riquelme Teams got a freekick which was hit by David Kepa. Evaristo Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Tohias in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nonogasta's zone, Javier Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Efraim came out of the goal and Javier Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Flavio Toli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Juan Román Riquelme Teams's Javier Tohias got a free kick in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Ponc during the 78th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
