In the 12th minute, Cirilo Quintyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Cirilo Quintyn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lapachito FC's Aldo Firme. Aldo Firme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th match minute, Colón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Harkaitz to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Garikoitz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Isaias Karmel sent off a good shot on target. When Ladislao Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colón's protests and gave Ladislao Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. Cirilo Quintyn ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Lapachito FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Baldomiro Oskarbi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Colón's Camilo Garikoitz got control of the ball when Baldomiro Oskarbi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erubiel Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Cirilo Quintyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lapachito FC's Aldo Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Cirilo Quintyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Firme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Gorbea made a kick off. Camilo Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, Colón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Ixaka to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Lapachito FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cirilo Quintyn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Quintyn got free with Aldo Firme in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Erubiel Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Quintyn in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Firme saved Lapachito FC from getting behind. After 96 played minutes Colón got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Quintyn. Colón's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
