Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Racing Rio IV's Silvio Weißbrot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Racing Rio IV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Froylan to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Edgard Theodore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Lucado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Caetano's late challenge caught a Rancagua AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Caetano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Racing Rio IV's Eleuterio Caetano got a free kick in the 4th minute. Silvio Weißbrot scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Salomon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Blas Serna notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rancagua AFC's Benito Salomon. Benito Salomon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rancagua AFC's Benito Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Serna in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Blas Serna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Salomon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Prospero Tino fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rancagua AFC's protests and gave Prospero Tino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Prospero Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rancagua AFC's Benito Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Weißbrot in the 25th minute of play. Racing Rio IV's Godfredo Lucado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Irrintzi in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes Racing Rio IV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Theodore who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Racing Rio IV's Diego Froylan got a free kick in the 31st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rancagua AFC's Edgard Theodore tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rancagua AFC's Benito Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Foro in the 36th minute of play. Adolfo Irrintzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Lucado having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Silvio Weißbrot notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Rancagua AFC's Benito Salomon. Benito Salomon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Weißbrot in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Salomon saved Rancagua AFC from getting behind. After the first half Racing Rio IV were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Tino was the one to do the kick off. Godfredo Lucado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Irrintzi in the 51st minute of the match. Benito Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Serna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Rancagua AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Serna came free, but Benito Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Racing Rio IV's Silvio Weißbrot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Salomon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 67 minutes of play, Rancagua AFC's Prospero Tino made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Lucado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Serna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvio Weißbrot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Salomon. That made the score 2-7 in the 77 minute of play. With his leg Benito Salomon managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Racing Rio IV's Silvio Weißbrot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 86 minutes Racing Rio IV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Theodore who took care of the corner kick. Edgard Theodore's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Godfredo Lucado - 3-7 was put on the score board in the 86th minute. Benito Salomon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Weißbrot went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-8 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Rancagua AFC's goalkeeper Benito Salomon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Weißbrot. When the final whistle sounded Racing Rio IV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rancagua AFC.
