Jaime Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Polo having to interfere. Mesada's Leopoldo Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Curcio in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Mogel got free with Leopoldo Polo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Polo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Curcio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 27th minute, Tobias Chepe had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 28 minutes, Jose Lonzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mesada and the ATLETICO MENDOZA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Jose Lonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Benet took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Polo. Leopoldo Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Emiliano Benet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Polo. Emiliano Benet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Jaime Mogel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Polo having to make a save.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Benet in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Polo saved Mesada from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Jaime Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Jaime Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATLETICO MENDOZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Emiliano Benet put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leopoldo Polo. Leopoldo Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Mogel went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th match minute, Mesada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Lonzo to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Mogel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Polo having to make a save. Emiliano Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Emiliano Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ATLETICO MENDOZA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
