Virgilio Berto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Maria Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, DyJ's Virgilio Berto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Lope was left in no man's land by his defense there! Modesto Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Mede in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Juan Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Froylan's late challenge caught a DyJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Froylan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Splinter F.C getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jonatan Froylan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Froylan got free with José Maria Coelho in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 54th minute, DyJ's Remigio Mede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Modesto Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Vinicio Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Lope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Rik in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Fausto Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Splinter F.C's Modesto Lope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Splinter F.C from getting a goal against them. The DyJ fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when DyJ's Remigio Mede looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th minute, DyJ's Jacobo Sugoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Lope. Modesto Lope yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Virgilio Berto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes of play Splinter F.C's Jonatan Froylan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jonatan Froylan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match was over DyJ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Splinter F.C throughout the match.
