Robustiano Inge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Pedroso in the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Viator during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Jorge Su hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Su's late challenge caught a Despidida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Su helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Splinter F.C's Jorge Su got a free kick in the 13th minute. Despidida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Cirilo Txeru scored to the left of an out of position Robustiano Inge, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Txeru in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Inge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cirilo Txeru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Robustiano Inge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cirilo Txeru struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Robustiano Inge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Splinter F.C. Robustiano Inge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Txeru's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Cirilo Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Esteban Urre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Lope skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Txeru got free with Robustiano Inge in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Txeru had several of the Despidida's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Robustiano Inge as he didn't even see the shot coming. Despidida's Robustiano Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Txeru in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Txeru made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jonatan Froylan made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Inge. Despidida's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Txeru in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Inge saved Despidida from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Splinter F.C's Cirilo Txeru got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Txeru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Inge was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Splinter F.C's Cirilo Txeru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Inge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Splinter F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Splinter F.C:s Modesto Lope showed great skill when he stopped Esteban Urre:s penalty. Modesto Lope was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Esteban Urre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteban Urre really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Cirilo Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Robustiano Inge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Jonatan Froylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirilo Txeru took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Inge. Robustiano Inge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Despidida's Robustiano Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Txeru in the 84th minute of play. When Jonatan Froylan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Splinter F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Froylan couldn't finish the play. If Cirilo Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Artal in the 96th minute of play forced Splinter F.C's goalkeeper Modesto Lope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Splinter F.C were the better team. Splinter F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
