Udinese's Celestino Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Cresencio in the 25th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Joaquin Cresencio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ciro Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Celestino Brais made a huge save. If Joaquin Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Brais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Cresencio in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Brais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celestino Brais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Unax in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Nafarroa was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee ignored Udinese's protests and gave Jeremias Nafarroa a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Danel shot the penalty kick right outside the post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Daireaux had played much better football throughout.
