Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesar Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Lano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Lluc's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The supporters of Lobocó FC booed when El Catenaccio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Humberto Cilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Godofredo Dacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobocó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Catenaccio FC the free kick. In the 18th minute, Godofredo Dacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Ganix's late challenge caught a El Catenaccio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lobocó FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Edelmiro Ganix hit a great ball. Ciro Ugutz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tadeo Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobocó FC. Conrado Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godofredo Dacio got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Lobocó FC's Godofredo Dacio got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes, Ceferino Argi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Catenaccio FC and the Lobocó FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceferino Argi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Humberto Cilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Catenaccio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Cilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Cilio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edelmiro Ganix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Ciro Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Catenaccio FC's Eliseo Rosario was substituted for Ceferino Argi. In the 59th minute, Ciro Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Conrado Lluc came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the El Catenaccio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Lluc couldn't finish the play. Humberto Cilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Lano having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Humberto Cilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cesar Lano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Fernandez having to interfere. Cesar Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Lluc in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Catenaccio FC's Eliseo Rosario got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Ciro Ugutz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eliseo Rosario hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. El Catenaccio FC's Conrado Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Catenaccio FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lobocó FC to leave the ground with a draw.
