Carolo Gonzales helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Colegiales F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Del Acuerdo:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Ritchie made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lennart Brinke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Del Acuerdo's Cipriano Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Ritchie in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Colegiales F.C. booed when Del Acuerdo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Cordarrol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colegiales F.C.'s goalkeeper Lino Nel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
