In the 22ndth minute of the game 庄夕朋 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres de CORDOBA's Daniel Satordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pituh Carp's Alfredo Urdaspal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Pituh Carp from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Urdaspal made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Carlos Paulista in the 28th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Carlos Paulista to make the kick off.
