The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorio Gombal made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Nestor Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Pirmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Honorio Gombal made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Italiano's Baldomero Ovando got a free kick in the 10th minute. Flavio Matia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mordelon booed when Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Enetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Manes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mordelon booed when Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Enetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Italiano's Paulo Manes got a free kick in the 35th minute. Honorio Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Matia in the 37th minute of play. The Mordelon fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Mordelon's Flavio Matia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Tomas Cortez fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mordelon's protests and gave Tomas Cortez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Flavio Matia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Honorio Gombal. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Flavio Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Flavio Matia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mordelon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Nestor Pirmin's late challenge caught a Sportivo Italiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Pirmin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Mordelon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sportivo Italiano booed when Mordelon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Honorio Gombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sportivo Italiano's Honorio Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Matia in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Mordelon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
